There has probably been an inn here since the 11th century with present parts dating from the 16th century. Reopened in 2028 after a long closure and comprehensively restored & refurbished with flagstone flooring, original oak beams and oak wood burners. There is a warm and cosy atmosphere for relaxation while there is an outdoor patio sun trap. Look out for the historic post holes above the fireplace. Cycle racks outside at front.
