Bolton Arms91, The Street
See more about this pub on WhatPub, CAMRA's national pub guide.
Situated in quiet and picturesque Old Basing, the pub is less than two miles from Basingstoke centre. The building dates from 1490 and renovation in 2008 uncovered many period features including vaulted ceilings, oak beams and central brick fireplace, all of which have added to its intimate ambience. There is an attractive landscaped Beer Garden at the rear of the property. The Inn Between bar was built from Basing House bricks and is renowned for sightings of "The Cavalier" ghost. The two guest beers may be another from Andwell and are often local.
