This ia a gem of a pub In the heart of the village and just around a 15 minute walk from Sutton Scotney and the nearest bus stop. Four real ales are served with changing beers often from local breweries such as Bowman Ales, Flowerpots and Red Cat. There are also 200 Gins. This is a true community pub catering for everyone. Although the pub doesn't serve food, a fish and chip van visits Tuesday evenings while Friday is Curry Night with food delivered, and Hampshire-produced Jakes Pork Pies are available. A 'Jeff the Codfather' Fishmonger visits on Thursdays from 4.30 – 6.30pm. There is folk music on 2nd and 4th Wednesdays. Jazz sessions, pop-up cafe, quizzes and a photography club also feature.
